About Us
The Wesley Foundation is the ministry of the United Methodist Church on campus at SMU. Our mission is in line with the overall mission of the Church to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”

The name “Wesley” is linked to John Wesley who founded the Methodist movement through a “Holy Club”, a group of students at Oxford University guided by Wesley in "methodical" study, prayer, and self-discipline. This movement of college students helped to revolutionize the world with the love and message of Jesus Christ.

When college students are passionate about being a part of this spiritual revolution, our hope is that this “Foundation” will ruin the dreams of anything less than full devotion to Jesus and the abundant life He offers.

The SMU Wesley Foundation is a campus ministry that is open to any students, not just Methodists, who desire to follow Jesus Christ and be a part of God’s kingdom building revolution upon planet earth.

Join us as we love God, love people, and follow Jesus.
